Check-in
Apostle View Cottages are hosted. This means there is no formal check-in upon arrival; simply enter your reserved cottage like you would your home. The key will be on the kitchen table. Please arrive no earlier than 3 PM.
What should we bring?
Insect repellent.
A beach towel if you'll be heading to the beach.
A laptop computer or other device. We offer free wireless service and streaming-only televisions. Don't forget your phone chargers!
Food and beverages: Each cottage has a full kitchen with everything you'll need for meal prep (refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, glassware, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, etc.). Andy's grocery store at 213 Rittenhouse Avenue is the closest full service store. Peterson's Foods is the next closest at 88100 State Hwy 13 in Red Cliff; their selection is smaller, but they are open until 10 PM. There are also several fresh fish markets, and the farmer's market each Saturday morning in the summer. There are a number of orchards in the area too. We provide coffee and filters and salt & pepper (this is all the health department allows).
We have one outdoor gas grill for guests to use. (Please scrape the grill after use).
Towels and Bed Linens
We provide one set of towels (bath, hand, and washcloth) per listed guest on your reservation. Please do not remove bath towels from your cottage.
For stays of five or more days, we provide fresh towels and bed linens at the mid-point of the reservation.
All of our cottages are non-smoking per Wisconsin law. A fee of up to $250 will be assessed if smoking takes place inside your cottage. Smoking is allowed outdoors.
